DESCRIPTION

Since 1938 the charming S&S Diner has served home-cooked breakfast and lunch to loyal patrons seated around a classic art deco U-shaped counter.  Housed in a depression-era building, the seasoned waitresses serve amazing comfort food, with good prices and bottomless cups of their “famous” coffee.  The diner’s opening hours remain true to its breakfast and lunch crowd.

Considering Miami is a very young city, this establishment offers an antique charm and character that is very unique in Miami.  Not to be missed!

By the way, if you have a few minutes to spare after breakfast be sure to check out the original City of Miami Cemetery next door.  As the city’s first and oldest burial ground, some of Miami’s most influential historical figures are buried here.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PLACE ONLY ACCEPTS CASH, NO CREDIT CARDS!

This has got to be one of the best breakfast places in Downtown Miami — if not all Miami. A trip back to the past, this little hole in the wall offerse delicious breakfast, coffee, and great deli food. Sit around the counter and listen in on conversation, or start one with the person next to you.

I have been going to this diner for years, and still salivate every time I think of going there. Great prices, great food, how can you go wrong?

Just make sure you go early, cuz this place closes early in the afternoon.
