Two Scoops for Success at Area 31!

What better way to start off the celebration of National Ice Cream Month, than on the Breathtaking 16th floor of the EPIC Hotel, in Downtown Miami - where, for a $5 donation, you enjoyed two scoops of Area 31's delicious signature ice cream.  The full amount of proceeds from this event was donated to a local cause: “Dress for Success.”

Scoops for Success took place on Thursday, July 15th at 5pm, and was held nationwide at all Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants for a month-long celebration. Sonia Jacobson, Executive Director of Dress for Success was scooping and serving throughout the event.

Hotel guests and locals were all welcomed at this extension to Kimpton Hotels' Wine Hour, which is held nightly as a way for guests to unwind and get to know one another.  The event called for a diverse crowd, energetic music by Kristian Caro and an immediate sense of comfort; even more so with Exhale Spa on hand to give complimentary mini-manicures!

At the Epic Hotel, there is an energy that is undeniably authentic.  The staff is genuinely friendly and easily makes you feel welcomed.  It is refreshing to see a cute little puppy by the pool and know that the pet-friendly services, and the amenities offered by the hotel, are what make them the grandest pet-friendly hotel in Miami.  It goes without saying that in order to fully understand the culture you must experience it for yourself.  Make sure to reserve a night or two and keep checking back on What Miami for upcoming events.
