Havana-based Conjunto Folclorico Nacional de Cuba will be performing at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach for two nights on August 26 and August 27. 2010.  Come out and watch the soulful dance and music of Cuban culture.

Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba is a local folkloric ensemble founded in 1960 by Teresa Gonzalez to collect and study Afro-Cuban culture.Sponsored by Cuban government, Conjunto Folclorico Nacional de Cuba recorded Musica Yaruba, internationally released in June of 1996. In 2000, musician and ethnologist Juan Garci­a Fernandez became its director.
