Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba is a local folkloric ensemble founded in 1960 by Teresa Gonzalez to collect and study Afro-Cuban culture.Sponsored by Cuban government, Conjunto Folclorico Nacional de Cuba recorded Musica Yaruba, internationally released in June of 1996. In 2000, musician and ethnologist Juan Garcia Fernandez became its director.
