
The city of Miami invites you to de-stress three times a week with FREE yoga classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at Downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park. All classes are taught by a certified yoga teacher for all levels – beginners, intermediate, and advanced alike – and you can come as many times as you’d like!
Held outdoors by the beautiful Biscayne Bay, these classes offer a unique atmosphere to relax and invigorate at the same time – and in addition, participants can enjoy the stunning view of the water and palm trees as they melt the week’s stress away. Here is the schedule:
Mondays & Wednesdays: 6pm – 7:15pm
Saturdays: 9am – 10:15am
All participants must be at least 18 years old and will have to sign a waiver prior to getting on the mat. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis and and the classes definitely get full – so make sure to come early to guarantee that you’ve got a place under the Tina Hills Pavilion.
Everyone must bring their own yoga mat, water, and towel – but sometimes extra mats are available. In the event of rain, classes will take place in the Bayfront Park office.
Ladies, stay after yoga for a FREE self-defense class every Monday and Wednesday at 7:15pm.

I love attending these free classes. The instructors are always very friendly and helpful, they never pressure you to push yourself too hard, but they do challenge you. Also, the bay view is the perfect setting for such a relaxing after-work activity!
