
The 55th Street Station located to the north of the Design District and at the boundaries of the MIMO Historic District is a mixed use, commercial complex in the Upper East Side of the City of Miami. It sits at the junction of Biscayne Blvd (US1) and NE 55th Street, from which it gets it’s name.
The 55th Streeet Station sits in a quaint , recently revitalized part of the neighborhood. It is composed of a variety of restaurants, lounges, and bars that have brought life to this piece of Miami. Within this usually active outdoor space one can find Andiamo Pizza, Sushi Siam, The News Lounge, Soyka, and many more.
55th Street Station is composed of a variety of older buildings, which give a unique and eclectic character to this area of town. These include a Ford Food Supermaket from 1948, a transmission repair company from 1982, a the Historic Robert Weed Law Building from 1954.
