Inspired by the Gauchos of southern Brazil, Grimpa's Rodizio style of service consists of distinguished waiters stopping by each table with their large sword-like skewers to present the fresh cuts of meat.
Grimpa is the name given to the branches of a special type of pine tree which is very common in the southern region of Brazil, the Araucária tree. These branches were used by the Gauchos of the region to start their campfires and prepare the "Churrasco" while they were out in the "Pampas" with their cattle. The Churrasco tradition has been recognized around the world as the only new concept since nouvelle cuisine.
Be a part of this tradition as you try over 15 different kinds of meat at a fixed price, such as flank steak, sirloin, ribs, rib eye, pork, sausage, lamb chops, filet mignon, fish and smoked chicken - all of them prepared by vegetable charcoal. The Churrasco meat is served on a skewer with continuous service at your table until you say "no more."
Another Grimpa Steakhouse specialty is their wine selection, with a variety of over 400 reds, white, rosés, and sparkling wines from France, Italy, the United States, Spain, New Zealand, and more. Come enjoy the best of the Brazilian "Churrasco" tradition in a classical environment, at Grimpa Steakhouse in Mary Brickell Village.
