Established in 1913, Joe's Stone Crab is THE Miami Beach place to satisfy your crab cravings - with a variety of sizes and prices. The restaurant also offers a variety of dishes such as soups, lobster, steak, salads, desserts, and seafood of course. The restaurant is located nearby the Miami Beach Marina and first opened as a small lunch counter. It is now a full-fledged classy restaurant which also has take-out service, a gourmet market, and even overnight delivery to your home (worldwide).
Some of the house specialties are their mustard sauce, coleslaw, shrimp salad, creamed spinach, and the apple pie. Overall, the prices are steep however they are justified by the quality of the food and service. Expect a long wait for your table as the restaurant is very popular and does not accept reservations - service is offered on a first come first served basis. Also note that the take away service is offered at the other end of the block, with a separate entrance on Washington Avenue.
I was really looking forward
I was really looking forward to trying this place with all the rave reviews i got from word of mouth. However, I was a little dissapointed. My claws were still a little frozen which ruined my experience.
