The beautiful and stylish Lincoln Theatre in Miami Beach is located on World Famous Lincoln Road, at the corner of Drexel Ave and Lincoln Road.  The Theater was designed in a sleek Art Deco style by famed theater architect Thomas W. Lamb in association with Robert E. Collins, who designed the nearby Cameo Theatre.  The Lincoln Theatre, with it’s classic Art Deco bands and floral motifs, opened in 1936.

The Theatre served as a movie house until the 1980’s, when it was closed.  After several years, the building was leased to the New World Symphony, “America’s Orchestral Academy”, whose mission is to “prepare highly-gifted graduates of distinguished music programs for leadership roles in orchestras and ensembles around the world”.

Fully restored, the Lincoln Theatre today is an architectural and cultural gem of Miami Beach.  It’s location on Lincoln Road makes it an easy visit for any tourist or visitor.  A beautiful and historic building with marvelous performances, how can one beat that?
