
Lummus Park in the City of Miami (not to be confused with Lummus Park in South Beach) is located on the Miami River, and was built in 1909. It is a conventional inner-city open space and recreation park.
The park contains a variety of historic buildings and is located withing the officially designated Lummus Park Historic District. This district is comprised of a total of 160 acres featuring 25 buildings of historical significance. At Lummus Park you will find the oldest house in Miami-Dade County which was built in 1855-1858 by William Wagner as well as a playground, basketball courts, and more!
