Enter a new age of upscale "Diner's Decision" prix-fixe dining at Prelude by Barton G. in Downtown Miami. Events impresario Barton G. Weiss' whimsical presentation fuses with culinary magic at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, as its only on-site restaurant.
Menu items are seasonal, updated American classics complemented by wines by the glass or half-glass. The prix-fixe menu is pretty straightforward, with a choice of an appetizer, a main dish and a dessert. The portions do leave a lot to be desired but this is to be expected from fine cuisine - the plates are rather big though, if that's any consolation!
The menu is comprised of fresh fusion-type dishes which encompass the cuisine of many cultures. Tender Beef Carpaccios, tasty Goat Cheese Tortellini, delightful Tuna & Beet Salad, juicy Skirt Steak, delectable Duck Leg Confit, and more are all served in a grand atmosphere provided by Barton G's taste for the refined - and backed by outstanding service.
Reservations are strongly recommended because the place gets packed and walk-ins are only permitted if space permits. Expect the dining experience at Prelude to take about 60 minutes.
