Talavera Cocina Mexicana

From the creators of Coconut Grove's acclaimed Jaguar Ceviche Bar & Grill comes Talavera Cocina Mexicana - in the beautiful city of Coral Gables. Talavera, home of the unique Mexican fine art pottery from the 16th century is the native city of Puebla - where the infamous battle of that same name took place.

The genuine and refined Mexican spirit of the Talavera art sets grounds for the spirit of the menu to be discovered at Talavera Cocina Mexicana. From the 'Huarache' grill, a series of delicate dishes served on a corn tortilla base, to a variety of regional specialties from Sonora to Oxaca, Michoacan to Puebla, and Jalisco to Yucatan.

All dishes are delicately prepared and cared by the house chef, Oscar del Rivero - a native of Mexico and also former chef at Jaguar.
