Waxy O’Connor’s is a truly authentic Irish Pub & Eatery which invites you to stop in to experience true Irish hospitality. It's a nice spot to have a good beer and grab some grub in a laid back environment, right on Washington Avenue.

Since opening their doors in December 1997, Waxy’s has provided a warm atmosphere that feels like home-away-from-home. Patrons can enjoy imported beers and traditional Irish and American food.

Rugby and soccer games are regularly broadcast on the big screen TV. The bar, chairs, stools and floor were all built by Truwood Joinery Shop in County Monaghan, Ireland, then crated and shipped to the States, and assembled by the very craftsmen who built them. The dark woods and unique fixtures bring a piece of Ireland to Miami Beach.
